Learning Media is proud to have nurtured celebrated artists such as Rita Angus, Russell Clark, and Dick Frizzell, as well as up-and-coming artists such as Thaw Naing and Vaughan Flanagan. We’re always keen to see new work from illustrators, photographers, and designers – whether you’re an established freelancer or just starting out.
See our submission guidelines and our frequently asked questions for everything you need to know about working with us.
We’ll be updating and re-fashioning this page regularly, so stop by to catch the latest news, tips, and discussions straight from the field. (And no, you don’t need to be already working for Learning Media to join the loop.)

Submission guidelines for illustrators and photographers
At Learning Media we believe in great design. Our designers commission freelancers to provide illustrations and photographs for our resources. Great design paired with strong images brings a text to life and is the best way to engage readers.
All of our artwork is commissioned. The tearsheet tips explain how to send us work to be considered for a commission. The submission guidelines for illustrators and photographers explain how to send us your work once you’ve been commissioned.
