Literacy is at the heart of learning. Learner’s succeed when they use rich texts and have plenty of opportunities to speak, read, and write.
What does it mean to become literate? In this information age, learning to use and create texts is an exciting, lifelong journey. We devote ourselves to unlocking this process for learners and educators.
Our literacy materials work hard to find the potential of all learners – and to instil an enjoyment of language. Our texts enhance learning through their appealing and appropriate design. By meticulous levelling and testing, we make sure our texts meet the needs of all learners.
We underpin all our work with an understanding of how learners develop literacy and how educators can best support them.
Workshops
We are currently running workshops to support the implementation of the National Standards: Reading and Writing. The workshops focus on building teachers’ knowledge of effective practice and literacy leadership.
